Experimenting

Once upon a trip to the art supply store I came across some lovely, 100% recycled, blank sketchbooks with my name all over them. I bought a few and took them home with me to add my "artistic touch".
This is inspired partly by the "Morning Forest Handbag."

These books were raw, textured and best of all eco-friendly. I wanted to keep the natural feel, so I stuck with a nature theme and used lots of texture. All the designs are painted with acrylic and made 3-D using a plaster type medium under Gesso.

close up-I adore woodgrain textures.

For now these are just experiments I've been working on. I don't know if I should try making some of these to sell in my etsy shop. There are some kinks I need to work out, but could books like these potentially be etsy worthy? Tell me what you think!
