Beginnings

Last night I was looking through some old files when I came across some of my elementary school papers.

These two drawings were completed my first grade year. I also found an "all about me" packet from the year prior. When asked what I wanted to learn the most I responded, "how to be a famous artist." Pretty big goal for a five year old. Funny, not much has changed.

Isn't that fabulous?! I love your pictures, very detailed for a 5-6 year old. (I'm guessing based on 1st grade year)At least you can scan them and store them for posterity, show you 'before' pics at your first gallery showing! ;)

I agree with everyone else...those are great for a five year old!! I wish I didn't have the annual gravitation to throw away everything I don't need. I wonder what my drawings looking like?...

They are adorable! That's great that you have them years later- they will always remind you of that innocent impulse to create for the sheer pleasure of it!

Thanks for stopping by my little blog, and, btw- your wheat tote is fantastic!
